02/ Challenge

Following the rebranding entrusted to the Bruno agency, the Weglot team handed over the project to us at the time of integrating the site's design and migrating it to Webflow (having previously been hosted on Wordpress). Reflecting the strong growth and leadership of the French start-up, the new design establishes Weglot as a powerful solution for translating your digital content.

3/ A team's work

Given the density and volume of pages to be integrated/migrated, we chose to work as a team with Vincent Bidaux (aka our Tactician).

The only disadvantage was that we had to share a designer access for two Webflow experts, with alternating work and schedules requiring a great deal of organization.

But in the end, the result is there: we were able to deliver the Webflow site on time, with a pixel-perfect design.

This project also enabled us to discover Octoparse, a powerful tool for exporting content (blog, for example) that scrapes your old website, parses a page in template mode and renders it all in a csv file.

4/ Focus on SEO

We also focused a lot of our attention on managing the numerous 301 redirects to be set up.

As far as possible, we kept the old URLs, metadata (title and description) and heading structures.

We naturally optimized the weight of images (using Webp compression) and initiate reflection about improving the URL structure.

In the end, nearly 700 urls were processed per language, and we used Screaming frog and Google sheet to collaborate with the Weglot team on these subjects.
