Web accessibility covers the set of practices ensuring a site can be used by as many people as possible, including those with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities. It relies on concrete choices: sufficient contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text on images, semantic HTML structure. Beyond the ethical and sometimes legal aspect, it also improves the experience for all users and the site's search ranking.
