Ambuliz is a patient management platform for hospitals. The tool allows managers to assign missions in real time to the stretcher staff who are in charge of transporting patients from one department to another. In addition, the tool allows to see in real time the available beds in all the hospital's departments to dispatch the patients in the best way possible.
In the last few years, we have seen how crucial it is for a hospital to be able to manage the available space in their facility. Ambuliz understood this issue and decided to call Mazette to help them design their management tool. We worked hand in hand with all stakeholders to build a product that translates a complex infrastructure system into a simple multi-connected tool and thus help planning staff to optimize patient transfer.
Building a product for hospitals has high stakes. We had to precisely conduct interviews with the end users to carefully design the tool they really need. Knowing what your users' habits are and in what environment they work, are the keys to building a consistent product. Therefore, we started working on our UI kit. The grids, spacing, size of the tables and buttons, everything was done based on the ideas we collected from our users to make the tool simple and functional to use.
