Logo design is the creation of a brand's central graphic symbol, designed to be recognizable, memorable, and adaptable across all formats (small size, black and white, favicon...). It visually translates a company's positioning and personality into a single sign. It is often the most visible starting point of a branding project, even though the underlying work goes well beyond the logo alone.

A logo is the first thing people see and the quickest way to recognize a company. A good one is simple, memorable and works at any size, from a favicon to a billboard, in color or black and white. It anchors the rest of the visual identity.
A logo is one visual element. Branding is the whole identity and perception: positioning, voice, colors, typography, imagery and how people experience the company. Logo design is a part of branding, never the whole of it.
